Team Rieju UK grabs a fourth at one of the UK’s largest 12 hours enduro races which attracts entries of over 500 riders.
Pilot Ben Shuttleworth set out to improve on last years great fourth place and during the first four hours was regularly swapping podium places until just after 7 hours a major crash left him with a badly damaged wrist requiring strapping and pain killing injections.

Ben then dug deep to ride the last 4 hours non stop (except re fuelling) to bring her home in a well credible fourth place yet again.

A big thanks to support from Rock Oil UK www.rockoil.co.uk and Golden Tyres www.gtyre.com for their valued support! And well done Ben for bringing her home despite the pain, next year!

2011 International Tough One 0

The 2011 International Tough One lived up to its name and reputation.

Now in its seventh year, for 2011 the event was held for the first time at the Back Cown Quarry north of Manchester for a well demanding ride with many world class riders attending.

First time out on the Rieju MRT250 Pro was Justin Carter who finished the event (no mean feat) overall in 31st position and claimed a credible 17th place in the Expert class.

Also riding a Rieju MRT250 Pro was French guest Mathieu Petit Bourdet who finished 36th overall.

From a field of virtually all two strokes the four stroke Rieju pilots battled hard to gain good results and they look forward to future courses where the two stroke/four stroke divide will be much reduced.
